On September
24 and 25, 2011, members of the Saugerties Teacher Association ran a
face-painting booth at the Garlic Festival at Cantine Field. All
proceeds went to flood relief. Looks like everyone had a great time!

| NYSUT has developed a system to help
union locals help each other in times of crisis with in-kind
donations. The "Adopt-a-School" list of locals in need after the recent flooding, shows which local unions
require disaster relief.
If you would like to make a donation for a school district in need, you can send donations to the NYSUT Disaster Relief and Scholarship Fund, 800 Troy-Schenectady
Road, Latham, NY 12110. It is the fastest and most effective
way to help.
